As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for demonstrating and offering extensive range of products, including hardware, textiles, screens, and more. You will also be responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of sales strategies to increase revenue with both new and existing clients.
Responsibilities:
- Drive new product placements and gain market share for all product lines.
- Understand market dynamics within channel-to-market, including competitors, fabricators, dealers, architects, installers, and other industry players in the window coverings market.
- Continuously build your market and product knowledge by completing assigned training provided by the company.
- Deliver channel partner training programs, including hands-on, web-based, and on-demand Learning Management System (LMS) content.
- Gather voice-of-the-customer information to inform new product development.
- Develop insights to quantify market size and share by vertical market, product line, and channel through market analysis and an in-depth understanding of the customer and competitor base.
- Build a forward-looking pipeline of new projects and product placements detailing revenue, probability, and expected close dates through CRM (SalesForce).
- Create customer and product level forecasts leveraging historical sales and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Strong phone presence and B2B experience with a proven track record of meeting sales goals.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills.
- PC literate, experience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERP software, Online Ordering, SalesForce or other CRM software.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong work ethic with a passion to succeed.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to assign territories. The Sales Representative will work primarily from our office, with regular travel to meet with clients and partners to achieve sales goals.
